The New John Deere D Series Excavators will offers a greater productivity, more
operation time and daily using cost reduction.
Engines inside John Deere D Series Excavators
The D Series Excavators engines meet EPA Level III anti-pollution norms on gas emission.
These engines uses the most tested technologies that letting them encounters the highest
anti-pollution norms all in improving fuel economy, reducing noise and increasing
reliability.
The John Deere 240D LC and 270D LC Excavators are equipped with a Deere
Power Tech Plus engine, having 6,8 litres and 177 to 188 hp while the 350D LC
Excavator run a 9,0 litres engine with 271 hp. The John Deere 450D,
650D and 850D Excavators are driven by Isuzu 15,7 litres engines
producing respectively, 430, 462 and 532 hp.
Cooling system inside D Series Excavators
A new cooling system has been built in the John Deere D Series Excavators. This
cooling system is self-adapted to the most requiring labour areas, thanks to his high
performing fans, hydraulically powered. The fans speed is controlled, electronically,
on such way that only the required speed is used to maintain excavator optimal power.
This on demand cooling system is more noiseless, consume less fuel and provide a greater
efficiency.
On the John Deere 240D LC and 350D LC Excavators, one can obtain the
reverse motion fan feature for self-cleaning. The fuel cooling system and the air
conditioning capacitor are mounted on hinges letting side gap to facilitate system
cleaning.
Cabin and control panel
The operator comfort has not been forgotten. Most of the C Series features are available
in the John Deere D Series Excavators, including A/C automatic control, glass
holder, 12-volt socket, storing space for eating and AM-FM radio. For the John Deere D
Series Excavators, a lot of improvement has been added to these features in order to
increase productivity and to reduce operation costs.
