Clark Equipment Michigan Tractor 10000 Gal Water Pull.
We are helping the owner of this heavy water pull sell it online. The owner has been a diesel and heavy equipment mechanic for the last 10 years. He bought this water pull with non-operating engine and together with a certified Caterpillar mechanic put in a 671 Detroit Diesel engine he took from a compressor. The advantages of an engine from a compressor is that it had been working at constant RPMs and thus the engine has not experienced variable loads and had not been worn out. The owner took apart the engine, cleaned and inspected the engine and found no problem inside and out. The engine is very good, keeps 50 psi pressure in all cyllinders, has plenty of power. The oil is clear. This engine is extremely powerful, it managed to push a 50-ton D-8 onto a 80,000 lbs flatbed trailer. Filters and hoses have been replaced with new. The radiator has been to a radiator shop and has been cleaned and repaired.
The transmission works well, the transmission fluid is clear.
The water pull is hooked to the tractor with bearings, which hold really well, there is no rocking allowance movement, one of the bearings is being replaced.
The hydraulics leak and some seals may need replacing, but it holds high pressure. All the hydraulics functions are in operating condition, steering is good, brakes work fine.
This water pull is equiped with a hydraulic blade which can be used at construction, loading sites and around crushers. It can brake down type 2 material and water-spray it in the same time. This type of water tank is extremly valuable in the desert cities like Las Vegas, where the county fines contractors $10000 if they do not spray agains dust on the site. The tank can be disconnected from the tractor and adding a scraper or a paddle wheel can turn it into a decent road construction machine.
The water tank is secure, there are no leaks, no daylight can be seen from inside. The water pump works strong, this back sprayer can shoot water 50 ft ito the air. It has a side sprayer, which needs some plumbing work, because it leaks. The water pull comes with a water gun.
A couple of the switches for operating the water pump may need attention, they leak a little air.
The water pull is located in North Las Vegas and can be loaded on a flatbed. It is 9 feet wide.
